A Night to Celebrate, Connect, and Change Lives

Wine & Wags 2026 was a night to remember.
Last month, more than 350 supporters gathered at 502 East Event Centre for ICAN's largest fundraiser of the year, coming together to celebrate the life-changing impact of highly trained service dogs.
By the end of the evening, that generosity translated into something extraordinary: more than $90,000 raised to support the raising, training, and placement of ICAN service dogs.
Guests were taken on a special journey through the life of ICAN service dog Cuppa, following his story from birth to puppy raising, advanced training, and ultimately his placement with a client.
Along the way, attendees heard from the volunteer puppy raiser who helped shape Cuppa's early development, watched a video message from the incarcerated handler who guided much of his training through ICAN's prison-based program, and met the client whose life has been transformed through their partnership. Together, these perspectives illustrated the dedication, teamwork, and community support required to raise and train an ICAN service dog.
The evening welcomed many guests who were new to ICAN's mission, providing an opportunity to see firsthand how service dogs create greater independence, confidence, and opportunity for people living with disabilities. Through powerful stories and personal connections, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the life-changing impact these partnerships have on individuals, families, and communities.
While the dogs were certainly crowd favorites, the true focus of the evening was the community of supporters who make ICAN's work possible.
Every donation made during the event will help ensure that more Indiana adults, children, and Veterans living with disabilities can experience the freedom and support that comes with a highly skilled service dog.
