Spring 2025 Team Training and Graduation
We're thrilled to share that four of our amazing service dogs in training have officially found their FURever partners as of April 2025!
After completing Team Training with their new clients at Pendleton Correctional Facility, these dedicated dogs are now ready to make a life-changing impact, helping their partners unlock new possibilities and embrace greater independence.
To celebrate this milestone, a formal graduation ceremony was held at Zionsville Town Hall, where volunteers and sponsors had the special opportunity to see these incredible dogs one last time—dogs whose leashes they supported along the way.
These inspiring new partnerships include:
Jamie & ICAN Gus Gus
Jamie and Gus Gus at Team Training
Gus Gus will serve as a facility dog with Jamie, a special education teacher, at Winchester Village Elementary School in Indianapolis. He will perform cues such as reading flashcards, providing deep pressure therapy with the visit and lap cue, and offer hugs to inspire the kids to enjoy learning.
Amelia & ICAN Cuppa

Cuppa will work as a successor mobility assistance dog for Amelia. He will provide support by retrieving items, finding help, opening doors, and performing numerous other tasks. Cuppa has public access and will go everywhere with Amelia and her family, providing Amelia with the support to fully participate.
Brad, Tammy & Sparty
Brad, Sparty and Tammy at Team Training
Sparty will work as a facility dog with Brad, a school counselor, at Shelbyville High School in Shelbyville, IN. Tammy will provide a loving home for Sparty and chauffeur him to and from school each day. Sparty will provide valuable support to students ages 14-18 and will act as a bridge between the students and the school staff, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Lucas & ICAN clifford
Lucas & Clifford at Team Training
Clifford will serve as a mobility assistance dog for Lucas. He will retrieve and pick up items by name, open and close doors at home and in public, push automatic door buttons in public spaces, and turn lights on and off. Clifford has public access and will be able to go everywhere Lucas goes, empowering him to fully unleash his abilities.
We can't wait to see the difference they’ll make in the lives of their new companions! 🐾
