ICAN is proud to be a part of the community!
We offer complimentary presentations about our mission. Our team will visit your location, share inspiring stories, and demonstrate what our dogs can do! We also offer corporate training. These services are free; however, we always welcome and appreciate donations.
We offer the following types of presentations and engagement opportunities:
(Hover cursor over images to learn more!)
Adult Presentation
You’ll learn about the people we serve, including Hoosiers with disabilities and incarcerated individuals. One of our volunteers will demonstrate cues with an ICAN service dog.
Youth Presentation
Become an official ICAN kid by learning what service dogs do, how to properly greet a service dog and what it means to live in an inclusive community. Students will also enjoy a demonstration from an ICAN dog.
ADA Guidelines Training
Our team will visit your business and explain what your staff can and can’t do (under ADA guidelines) and ways to make customers living with disabilities feel welcome.
Community Events
We enjoy being at community events. It’s a great way for us to share our services with people who would benefit from them or know of someone who would benefit from them.
Client Recruitment Presentation
Discover the transformative impact of facility dogs in your workplace. Join us for an engaging presentation designed for professionals in education, healthcare, law enforcement, and beyond. Request this powerful session today and witness the positive change it can bring to your organization.
Puppy Love Year-Round
Don’t want to wait until Valentine’s Day to spread some puppy love? No problem!
We offer Puppy Love Year-Round: an opportunity to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, appreciation holidays, and any other special occasion with the addition of an ICAN service dog in training.
When you support ican’s mission, you’re helping us:
Train, place, and care for service dogs
Create stability for children and adults with disabilities
Empower people to overcome challenges
Prepare incarcerated individuals for successful community reentry
